Georgia Pitrone joined CIG in 2019 as Vice President, Asset Management with over 20 years in the real estate industry. She is tasked with ensuring operations are in line with projections, coordination of both routine and capital improvements, directing the due diligence process, and auditing of operational and financial packages. She has a diverse background in real estate, financial and operational performance, asset management, transactions and analysis. Georgia has worked in all facets of real estate – commercial, industrial flex, storage and multifamily in both the public and private sector. Her experience includes mixed use projects, value add acquisitions, dispositions, development, and large-scale renovations. She has been responsible for directing property management personnel both as employees and those employed by 3rd party managers. She has been trained as a Revenue Manager with RealPage Yieldstar/LRO. Prior to joining CIG, Georgia served as Director of Asset Management for almost 4 years at Hercules Real Estate Services for a portfolio over 10,000 multifamily units and for over two years as a Regional Manager for SL Nusbaum directly responsible for over 1,000 multifamily units. She was also Director of Asset Management for four years with First Potomac Realty Associates, an office property REIT, where she was responsible for forecasting and managing quarterly FFO, reporting, and creating strategic business plans for each asset.
Georgia began her career with Harbor Group, where she spent a total of 10 years starting as onsite General Manager for a 17 building, 43-acre office park. She then transitioned into the corporate office to lead a newly created position as Director of Transition and Training where she managed all aspects of due diligence, transitioning of properties after acquisition, and acted as a liaison between operations and asset management.
Georgia resides in Virginia Beach and volunteers with VBSPCA and local foodbanks.
